India’s leading process automation company Endress+Hauser India organized a vaccination camp for its 250 plus employees and their family members at their office in Mumbai. The vaccination was monitored as per the Government of India guidelines. The company has been actively involved in COVID-19 management by donating ventilators, oxygen concentrators, BiPAP and installing new edge process solutions for oxygen plants.

Endress+Hauser India has also launched a company-wide donation drive to raise funds for COVID-19 relief efforts in India. The company has donated to various other corporations in India and are hand-in-hand in this fight.

Kailash Desai, MD, Endress+Hauser India, says, “ Various sectors are overwhelmed with production facilities stepping up their process automation ecosystem. Human life is given priority and we have been working tirelessly across the country in streamlining processes for pharma, water and other sectors. Given the severity of the second wave of the pandemic, the importance of vaccination cannot be emphasized enough. The vaccination services will be provided free of charge to all our employees. Employees from other parts of India can get vaccinated at partner hospitals around the country.”

Since the pandemic outbreak, Endress+Hauser India offices in Mumbai and Aurangabad, where the company has the manufacturing unit, have been educating and training employees to fight Corona. The training has been about proper hand hygiene, cough etiquette and social distancing techniques. The one-year-old in-house expert team constantly understands the trends, follows WHO guidelines, and has developed newer work practice and engineering controls. Additional protection has been provided to the customers and employers, such as; clear plastic sneeze barriers, ventilation, and the proper selection, use and disposal of personal protective equipment.
