Cheshire Disability Trust (CDT) (https://www.cheshiredisability.org/), a Bangalore-based NGO that works towards improving the lives of persons with disabilities, is reaching out to donors to raise funds. In the past, CDT has predominantly relied on corporates to fund its activities, and this is the first time that it is reaching out to the general public for this purpose. 1Crowd is helping CDT in this endeavour by reaching out to its investor members to donate to this noble cause.
1Crowd (https://www.1crowd.co/) is a sector agnostic early stage investment firm. This project in which 1Crowd is helping CDT raise funds from donors is a CSR activity and hence the usual fees associated with an investment through 1Crowd are not applicable.
